Parking Lot Repurpose

After extensive neighborhood site analysis, this concept won the highest score in Studio 7 because of its pedestrian oriented design to improve the neighborhood of Elliot Park, Minneapolis. Students spent weeks at multiple different sites around Minneapolis, reimagining a better use for them to benefit different neighborhoods. For this project, I chose to reimagine an underutilized parking lot in Elliot Park. With a parking garage a block away from the site, this space could be used for so much more than just parking.
